Miracle #21 (Los Angeles)
- curated by tamara itzel

Curated with an archival angle, Miracle #21 (Los Angeles) acts as an informal audio scene report of the interconnected networks of musicians working within Los Angeles and beyond in the current moment.
The project explores the nostalgia of adolescence and navigating space in relation to the limitations of physical media: the mix CD.
Miracle is intended to be listened to while driving or on a bus, and is particularly grounded within the audiovisual landscape of Los Angeles’s streets and boulevards, in particular, Sunset Blvd.
Miracle #18 (Los Angeles) draws inspiration from Ed Ruscha’s photographs of Sunset Blvd, as well as his painting, Miracle #64 (1975). The compilation is a sincere attempt at facilitating music discovery through physical media, sans internet.
